We follow up on last week's amazing turnout (Many new
faces!  Thanks again, Shara and Cody!) with our
regular monthly protest against war, occupation and
torture.

Remember, new people see us every time we turnout. 
We're only there for a short time each month and so
there are still many people who drive past our spot
there who haven't yet had the good fortune to happen
by when we're there.

We need to keep it up.  The elections were a landslide
for us, our postcard campaign was great, and the rally
in DC was a huge success, but most of our elected reps
aren't anywhere near where we need them to be.  (See
Paul Street's excellent review of Obama in this
month's Z Magazine, for example.)

The tide may have turned, but Washington is still far
behind (as usual).  We'll have to drag them along,
kicking and screaming.

Dress warm this Saturday!  Bring your own sign or
borrow one of ours!
