ACTION NAME: Anti-War Protest at Presidential Debate

ACTION SPONSOR: Chicago Coalition Against War and Racism

DATES: 8-7-2007 through 8-7-2007

TIME: 16:00

DESCRIPTION:
   NOT
. . . one more day
. . . one more death
. . . one more dollar
. . . one more excuse

PROTEST AGAINST THE WAR at the August 7th debate of the Democratic
Presidential candidates in Chicago.

TUESDAY, AUGUST 7TH(ICPJ), IN FRONT OF SOLDIER FIELD*
                     (*exact location to be announced)

The protest will begin at 4 PM, when the doors open, but if you can't
get there until after 5 PM, please attend anyway (their debate begins
at 6 PM).

Americans are overwhelmingly against the Iraq war.
The rest of the world, even more so.

But more than 4 years into the war, politicians of both parties have
done little more than talk about ending it. Crucially, they have
continued to vote funding for the war while critical needs at home --
healthcare, housing, education, transportation -- go unmet.

Please participate as we demand of ALL of the candidates:
STOP FUNDING THE WAR.
BRING THE TROOPS HOME NOW!

Protest co-sponsored by the Chicago Coalition Against War & Racism and
Chicagoland CodePINK.

For more information or to endorse the protest, email CCAWR at aol.com or
call 773.209.1187.
