Dear Peace list,

Flyers for the March 15 local march and rally are attached. Please spread them widely.

Below, I am forwarding the updated informational email about the preparations
(this Monday and Tuesday evenings) and the events (Thursday March 15th,
11am-1pm -- the march on Green St and the rally on the Quad).

We are still looking for speakers/readers (contact Karen Medina). I think we
also need readers of names of the fallen (contact Carol Inskeep).

I've suggested that the march be a somber one instead of a loud disturbance (it
was originally my idea to have a disturbance to remind people that wars disrupt
lives), but I have suggested that our signs should speak for us and be heard
much better. Also, since the Unofficial St. Patrick's Day was a recent
disturbance on Green St., I would really like to see this as a true peace
march.

> Hello all groups and persons involved in helping to

>
> We will be meeting Tuesday at 6pm in room 140

>
> On the actual day of the march we will have everyone

> should discuss on Tuesday at the meeting how far
> down Green st we should actually go. Also, Karen
> from A.W.A.R.E. has suggested that the march be a
> "solemn" march where the group keeps silent the

> well.
>
> At noon we will start the speakers.
>
> What follows is the list of current speakers for the

[This note was originally sent by Karen Medina to peace and peace-discuss,
with the large PDF flyers attached (about 5 megabytes total). I've posted
the flyers on the AWARE web site and replaced them with links in this message,
with her permission -- it's easier this way on people with slow internet access.
