The No War on Iran Coalition cordially invites you to join us in
welcoming Scott Ritter and Edward Peck to Chicago at a reception to
precede their important public forum on the threat of an attack on
Iran and the future strategy of the peace movement. Hors d'oeuvres and
wine will be served and admission to the forum is included.

Scott Ritter, former Chief Weapons Inspector in Iran, has been warning
of the Bush Administration's determination to strike Iran for several
years. Recent events in the Persian Gulf indicate we would be well
advised to take his warnings seriously. Joining Ritter to argue for
peaceful alternatives is Edward Peck, a thirty-two year veteran of the
Foreign Service, who served as Chief of Mission in Iraq from 1977 to
1980. He also held diplomatic positions in Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia
and Egypt, and was Ambassador to Mauritania.

The reception is a fundraiser for the No War on Iran Coalition, a
diverse group of Chicago area peace, religious and social justice
organizations dedicating to preventing another illegal and immoral war
in the Middle East.

For reservations contact Michael Lynn at mlynn226 at gmail.com or 773-860-6969.
