Patricia Morrison hails from Tucson, Arizona. She calls on folk, world, blues, gospel and classical influences to write her songs, which are marked by a care for humanity as seen through the stories of individuals. These stories take on a new life in her rich, soaring vocal lines and the gentle, undulating backdrop of her guitar. Samples of her songs can be heard on her website, www.patriciamorrison.net. Copies of her debut CD, "Downriver" will be available for sale at the performance.
