Yes, very much of interest, Marti. Thanks for the heads up. I think what's missing in this program is the fact that for so many, the future is a dead end, with no reason to stay in school or get training because there are no decent jobs anyway. Certainly true in Detroit, where both men grew up.. Easier to address this issue than the black (or white) community's perceptions related to variations in skin color if there were a will within the public and private sectors.

CNN ran a program that addresses the topic of being black in the United States today. If you go to the CNN website they feature segments of the program and I thought it was quite informative. Haven't seen anyone mention it on the boards but figured it's a topic of interest to many.
