[Peace] CNN Coverage on Being Black in America

Any documentary or TV program can only, at best, scratch the surface. What I
find beneficial about this show is at least it can get people talking about
how to address the issues faced by persons of color.

I think what's missing in this program is the fact that for so many, the
future is a dead end, with no reason to stay in school or get training
because there are no decent jobs anyway*.

The value of an education and training go above and beyond the vocational
possibilities.  Historically slave owners didn't want to teach slaves how to
read and, in some areas, it was outlawed. This is because when you open the
window to an education that is a road to empowerment.
