An Evening With Joe Futrelle, Mike Lehman, and Walter Pituc *

While most people are focused on the intense presidential election, citizens
also have an opportunity to vote for local candidates.  These local offices
can have more of an impact on our daily lives, and we can have more of an
impact on the outcome.  The Green Party candidates for Champaign County
Board will be speaking about their stances on the issues, including the
nursing home, transparency and accountability, criminal justice, and urban
sprawl.  The candidates will also be taking questions from the audience and
an active discussion is encouraged.  Tea and snacks will be served.
