Champaign County ACLU is proud to present:
Freedom to Vote: Protecting the Ballot

Colleen Connell, constitutional law attorney and Executive Director of the American Civil Liberties Union of Illinois, will discuss current challenges to the freedom to vote and the ACLU's Constitution Voter initiative.
Thursday, Oct. 16th
7:00 p.m.
Champaign Public Library
505 S Randolph
Champaign, IL
Free and open to the public.
Featuring an episode from the ACLU's Freedom Files, the program will provide a brief history of the sacrifices that have been made in our nation's history to ensure equal access to the ballot and discussion of current legislative efforts that would create barriers to voting for many low-income, elderly and disabled voters such as requiring all voters to present photo identification.
