[Peace] REMINDER: 11:30AM Press Conference

Take an early lunch and car pool in with friends (but arrive early since
we *are* talking about downtown Champaign parking, after all).

The Press Conference in support of passing Champaign's Township poverty
referendum (to help restore financial aid to the poorest of the poor) is
THIS MORNING.

11:30AM

Champaign City Council Chambers
Champaign City Building, 102 N. Neil St.
(council chambers is on the ground floor, to the left as you come in the
main entrance)

We have nearly 20 organizations endorsing now - latest additions include:


Champaign County Christian Health Center
Peace and Justice Initiative, Mennonite Church
Salvation Army
Frances Nelson Health Center
CU Area Project

Please come to applaud the solidarity and raise awareness about this
issue.
