IMC Film Festival kicks off tonight at 6pm
with a screening of the original "Citizens Watch" video - the film the
authorities don't want you to see!
In 2004 Patrick and Martel Miller shot a copwatch documentary that brought
charges against them of felony eavesdropping.
Filmmaker Martel Miller will be present for a discussion afterwords.

All events are free!

This February 6, 7 and 8th, the *Urbana Champaign Independent Media Center
(IMC) <http://www.ucimc.org/>* will be hosting the IMC Film Festival (*
www.imcfilmfest.org <http://production.ucimc.org/>*). The UCIMC is located
at 202 S. Broadway Ave, Urbana Il, 61801 in the old Poist Office Building.
This three day celebration of the art of cinematography will highlight local
and independent artists and kickoff monthly IMC Film Nights.   It will also
be a chance for local and independent filmmakers to share their work and
connect with other artists, community members, and organizations. Works by
local and regional filmmakers will be featured, with submissions coming from
Chicago, St. Paul, Iowa City, and Champaign-Urbana.


The IMC Film Festival will be open to all, FREE of admission charges.
