Pancake Supper and Mini-Peace Bazaar/Silent Auction

The Urbana-Champaign Friends Meeting will hold a Pancake Supper and Mini-Peace Bazaar/Silent Auction at the Friends Meetinghouse, 1904 E. Main St., Urbana on Saturday, January 31, 2009 from 5:30-7:30 PM.

The proceeds will support our Ugandan AIDS orphan's school fees and the Friends' Emergency Fund, which is used to help people in the community in crisis situations.

We will be happy to accept donated items in good condition for the mini-bazaar/silent auction.  Is there a Christmas gift you received and stashed away in the closet?  This is the perfect opportunity to find a good home for it. Our most interesting donation so far is a 55 gallon fish tank with a stand and everything needed to run it except the fish.
