Suggest broadening the theme a little.  "Lasting Legacy of Lincoln" would seem to 
encompass many people, right up to the present, who in some degree exemplified  
some aspect of his (perhaps somewhat laundered &  idealized) legacy with respect 
to war & racism.  

Don't see the point of confining it to those who preceded & possibly influenced 
Lincoln, which seems to have it backwards.

I would suggest possible addition of  Susan B. Anthony, H.D. Thoreau, Walt 
Whitman, Eugene Debs, etc., &  the personal favorite of anyone else who wants to 
make a suitable sign & walk in the parade carrying it.
