[Peace] Staff training today!

Greetings IMCstas,

We're trying to reinvigorate staffing at the IMC.
I'm holding a training session at noon today, Friday.

The hope is to take the burden off our Vista volunteers who are here to
write grants, do outreach, and facilitate media production - not staff.
They say there's been enough traffic at the IMC to need a specific person to
staff during prime hours - Mon-Fri, noon - 5pm.

It is also crucial that we promote the IMC in the coming months
as rent from our anchor tenant is running out this summer.

If you can't make it today but could volunteer a couple hours a week drop me
a line.
We'll have another staff training in the coming weeks on a Saturday when
working people can make it.

In the DIY spirit of the IMC whenever or however you'd like to staff is up
to you.
We're setting up a computer and staffing table at the entrance of the IMC
and people are welcome to study, bring children, invite friends, play music,
or read a book from the IMC library.
