The Catholic Worker House invites you to:

One Light Many Lamps
GATHERING TOGETHER THE PEOPLE OF THE WORLD
An interfaith day of retreat, bringing together people of different
spiritual and religious traditions.
Saturday,October 17th,2009
10 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.(vegetarian lunch available)
St.Patrick's Parish Center
708 W.Main St.,Urbana

Intended audience:People of all ages,religious denominations and
spiritual paths are welcome.
PROGRAM
Morning Session:“One Light,Many Lamps”will be an exploration of our
traditions and what they hold in common that will lead us to
appreciate the life-guiding wisdom of a variety of faith traditions.
The morning will include prayer,meditation and ritual as a way into
the wisdom found in these traditions.

Afternoon Session:“The Aramaic Words of Jesus” will explore the deep
rich meaning of Jesus’ teaching and the wisdom tradition using the
Aramaic text.Jesus' native language was Aramaic.Prayer,meditation and
ritual will provide the participants with an enriched understanding of
the man called Rabbi Yeshua (Jesus).
