This is one fantastic author.  I have his book, It Happened at the Riverbend, which also has a lot of historical information concerning the Alton-Madison County area along the Mississippi.

Godfrey author John J. Dunphy announced that his latest book, "From Christmas to Twelfth Night in Southern Illinois," has just been published by the History Press of Charleston, South Carolina.
