Hi all,
 
As many of you know, some folks from Champaign-Urbana, including members of AWARE, the ISO, Catholic Worker, and others, will be driving to Chicago this Saturday for a regional anti-war demonstration. Afterwards, I thought people might be interested in checking out the following forum (I'm pasting info on the anti-war march itself below the forum announcement). This forum will put forward an alternative to the endless war and budget cuts that both the Republicans and Democrats seem to have in store for us.

Why We Need an Alternative: In 2008, Barack Obama's candidacy inspired millions to vote for 'change they could believe in'. Now, more undocumented immigrants face deportation than under Bush, the US has committed more troops and dollars to occupy Afghanistan, the number of uninsured has soared past 50 million, Guantanamo remains open for business, FBI raids target antiwar activists, 25 million Americans are unemployed or underemployed and budget cuts across the country threaten to devastate funding for education and social services ...but Wall Street profits and bonuses are surging.
