[Peace] 8/24/11 - Community Meeting on the Illinois Health Insurance Exchange

Dear Friends, 

Please join CCHCC at this important community meeting! One key component of
national health reform is the Health Insurance Exchange. Under Health
Reform, millions of Americans will purchase their health insurance through
the Health Exchange in each state.

The Health Exchange will have a role in regulating health insurance plans,
and plans will have to meet certain state criteria. Illinois is in the
process of developing its Health Insurance Exchange, and there are
opportunities for residents to give input.

Please save the date and plan to attend this special community meeting
organized by CCHCC. The meeting will feature a speaker from the IL
Department of Insurance - Mr. Frank Kisner. The IL Department of Insurance
is charged with developing the Health Insurance Exchange.
