Mark your calendars now for the monthly peace demonstration that will
be Saturday, July 2nd, 2011, 2pm-4pm

There was a letter in the News-Gazette on June 19th asking, "Where are
the anti-war protesters loudly condemning a sitting president who is
now
actively engaged in four separate wars?"

People obviously aren't seeing us because so few people come to the
demonstrations, but we members and friends of AWARE - the Anti-War
Anti-Racism Effort of Champaign-Urbana - continue to demonstrate as we
have for years on the first Saturday of every month, 2-4pm in downtown
Champaign, on the corner of Main and Neil streets.
