AWARE needs you! Three times this weekend... More below...
* Saturday @ 10:40am (or 8am), Farmer's Market
Talk with the public at the Farmer's Market, Saturday
(any time, but especially 10:40-noon would help)
** Saturday @ 2pm, Main & Neil in Champaign:
Monthly anti-war demonstration - several of the
regulars are out of town. Come and stand against the wars...
*** Monday, July 4th, 12:30PM, Assembly Hall parking lot
March and carry a sign in the July 4th parade,
**if** we get enough marchers. If at least
four people say Yes, then we'll go, says Don M.
**** Gaza Freedom Flotilla!
-----
* We could use help with the Farmer's Market on Saturday the 2nd,
especially for the 10:40-noon (and closing) shift, but any time
would be good. Rohn and Ron and Carol will be there, but if one
or two people can come by to help staff the table would make it much easier.
** AWARE's monthly anti-war demonstration is this Saturday,
at the usual 2-4PM, at the usual Main & Neil intersection.
We'll have signs. We hope to have a few new signs too.
*** We have a spot in the July 4th parade:
We need marchers! Come by 12:30 if you can. Parade should
start around 1pm. Don McClure <dmccjr at att.net> is coordinating,
and will bring signs to the **starting point** at
... the giant parking lot, just west of Assembly Hall,
between Oak and First St and between Kirby and St. Mary's Rd.

AWARE is slot #43, toward the west side of the lot,
and a little south of center. We're next to
Orange & Blue Distributing (#44).

**** In any case, please think of and talk about the people
taking part in the Gaza Freedom Flotilla, breaking the
the Israeli siege of Gaza. Urbana resident Robert Naiman, of
Just Foreign Policy, is not only thinking and talking, he is there:

(I'm sorry to miss this one, am going to Socialism 2011 in Chicago,
and looking forward to hearing Glen Greenwald and lots of others...)
