Description
On Jan. 25, 2011, the world watched as a popular uprising irrupted
across Egypt. It lasted 18 days and resulted in the ouster of
then-president Hossni Mubarak, who had ruled for 30 years. What is the
regional and historical context of this uprising? What role did social
media, youth and women play in the uprising? What has happened since?
and why do some Egyptians feel that the revolution is still ongoing
almost year later?

Join us as we address these questions and more on the one-year
anniversary of the Jan. 25 Revolution.
