[Peace] Screening of "The People and the Olive" TONIGHT at First Mennonite

I wanted to let you know about a free film being shown at the *First
Mennonite Church of Champaign-Urbana today, Wednesday, February 27th at 7
PM. * Their Peace & Justice Initiative will show the 70-minute documentary,
*The People and the Olive. *



The olive tree has been a way of life for generations of farmers in
Palestine, but their livelihood is threatened in the ongoing conflict with
Israeli settlers.  The People and the Olive is “an inspiring documentary
about the daily joys and struggles of Palestinian fair trade farmers and
the American ultra-marathoners who ran across the West Bank planting olive
trees and bridging cultures along the way.”   More information at:
