The Champaign County NAACP, CU Citizens for Peace and Justice,
National Council of African American Men, Citizens with Convictions,
NorthEnd Breakfast Club, Sisternet, Illinois Council Against Handgun
Violence, AON CCAD, along with many other concerned citizens, will
join the National Social Justice movement lead by the National Action
Network on Saturday, July 20th to “March for Justice for Trayvon
Martin, Civil Rights, Equality, and the End of Institutional Racism
and Discrimination,” perpetrated against people of color.

We will assemble at 10:00 a.m. at Martin Luther King Park in Urbana
(1108 Fairview Ave, Urbana, IL) and march to the Urbana Federal
Courthouse where a rally will be held from 12:00 Noon – 1:00 p.m.

The speakers will address a numbers of local and state issues and also
add their voices to the national call to the U.S. DOJ to file civil
rights charges against George Zimmerman.

We invite the public, all community organizations, non-profits,
churches and businesses to stand with us on Saturday, July 20th for
social justice.  Express solidarity and denounce the culture of
institutionalized racism that inflicts incomprehensible disparities
and violence on people of color.
