[Peace] Teach-In [sic] on Syria

["Teach-ins" were invented in the mid-1960s by the anti-war movement in the U.S., to counter support for the Kennedy-Johnson attack on Vietnam - and the generally unquestioning support offered to that great crime by American academe. There is some irony in using that title today for a session in which none of the speakers apparently thinks that Obama & co. are war criminals, as they obviously are.] 


Invisible Conflicts 
Teach-In on Syria
  
Join this public forum to discuss the current crisis in Syria and the international community's response. Speakers will briefly introduce key issues, including international law, the use of chemical weapons and rules of war; the use of children in debates surrounding possible military intervention; and U.S. policy considerations. After these brief comments, the discussion will open for audience members to ask questions and add various perspectives.
