[Peace] Oct. 8: Prison activist Susan Burton at Channing-Murray

Passing this along from Prison Justice Project (PJP), a student group on U
of I campus. BD

On Wednesday, October 8 from 6:00 - 7:30 pm, PJP will be hosting a dialogue
with Susan Burton at the Channing-Murray Foundation Chapel. Susan is the
founder of A New Way of Life Reentry Project in 1998 after spending almost
20 years in and out of the criminal justice system. Since then, she has
dedicated her life to helping other women break the cycle of incarceration,
homelessness, addiction and despair.
