[Peace] [Peace-discuss] 3pm Mon 10/26 "The Legitimacy of Targeted Killings" - Law auditorium - Michael S. Moore and Jeremy Waldron

To treat ‘targeted killings’ as a policy option, the legitimacy of which can be considered academically, is monstrous.

What next? “The Legitimacy of Concentration Camps?” Waterboarding? Launching aggressive war?

As Chomsky says, Obama’s drone program is "the most extreme terrorist campaign of modern times":

I’m glad you’re organizing a protest. —CGE

If anyone would like to take any of our drone-related or other signs to the Monday meeting, I'd be happy to put them aside for pickup at our house - or at tomorrow's AWARE Farmer's Market table (assuming we don't cancel due to rain).

Do we want them to hear only one side of the issue? I don't think so, we need to prepare to present the other side if necessary. I'm sure that those who have urged a boycott against the university would agree, that this program maybe an acceptable exception.
