Now that it is on the ballot..
IT IS OFFICIALLY TIME TO *VOTE YES!!*

Y'all only have today and tomorrow so I want you to stop everything you're
doing at this moment and follow these simple steps:
1. Go to vote.illinois.edu
2. Sign in with your netID
3. Vote YES to Referendum #4
4. Give yourself a high-five
5. Make sure you remind your friends to do the same!

Hello everyone!
It is International Women's Day today and given the recent losses, I urge
you all to take a moment of silence for the trans black women whose lives
were taken just this past month and reflect on the trans women who
sacrificed their lives to shape this liberation movement into what is today.

On another note..
THE DAY HAS COME.
After all of the events this past month, the time has finally come to VOTE
YES on the referendum. It is important that y'all don't forget because it
is only TODAY and TOMORROW.

*Confronting Sexual Violence in Activist Communities*

This week, in place of our regular GBMs, the SJP meeting will be replaced
with the workshop event, "Confronting Sexual Violence in Activist
Communities." This workshop hosted by activist Hannah Gutierrez along with
the Women's Resources Center aims to examine and discuss an issue that is
much too prevalent to be unaddressed and yet, such is the case.

This event will be held tomorrow on *Thursday (March 9)* at the *University
YMCA from 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM*. This workshop will entail food & refreshments
as well as crucial information about bystander intervention in relation to
activist communities. Bring yourselves there, bring your friends there, and
bring everybody else there too.
