[Peace] "The Stealth Militarization of Africa" event

Come join us for a panel on the stealth escalation of U.S. military presence in Africa, February 21st at 7PM in Lincoln Hall, Room 1092.

The panel will feature UIUC faculty members Lou Turner and Ken Salo, student activist Karen Olowu, and PhD candidate Vukoni Lupa-Lasaga.

The panelists will discuss decolonization and national liberation struggles, the impact of U.S. military interventionism in African countries, and strategies for fighting back against American imperialism across the African continent
