Robert, you’re quite right.

It’s about time, if more Congressional Reps., had taken a stand and said this in 2009 there might not have been a Caravan of Honduran immigrants risking their lives to seek asylum in the US today.

The world is watching, lets hope our Congressional Representatives take action and prevent Venezuela, already suffering terribly due to our sanctions, from going the same way as all other nations which the US has intervened, in pursuit of regime change.

PPS: Any U.S. military intervention in Venezuela would be unconstitutional unless it had specific prior authorization from Congress. In case anyone cares about that.

PPPS: Also, it would violate the UN Charter - in fact even the threat violates the Charter - unless it were authorized by the UN Security Council. Now let's see who is threatening the "global liberal order" [sic], and who is defending it.
