[Peace] Rally to Save our Geese is ON! Tomorrow, Tues, 12 noon to 1pm

At Park Street and Broadway , we'll rally to save our geese!  The UPD
claims that killing the geese is the only way to manage their
overpopulation. This is not true---we've sent the UPD plans for geese
control that are humane, effective, economical.

Let's talk about these. Come tomorrow, and at the end of our rally we'll
describe some of the ways we can manage our geese without killing then.

*Not So Good News:* <news:*> Now Champaign Park District wants to learn
more about
the "Charity harvest" method of geese control (kill them, give their 'meat'
to the poor) that Urbana will use, unless we halt them. CPD has been
consulting with UPD to learn how.

* Good N*ews: our 2 online petitions have collected over *7400 signatures*
of
residents who want the geese saved in just 8 days! (Urbana has a population
of 44,000 people--so , wow!)
