With more than 50 million people having lost their jobs a wave of evictions and foreclosures is beginning to sweep the country.The number of homeless is growing. Instead of providing real relief the government is unleashing police departments to evict people from their homes, harass the homeless and continue to carry out routine acts of violence and brutality in Black, Latino and Indigenous communities.
Take this opportunity also to listen to and meet Gloria La Riva, the presidential candidate for the Party for Socialism and Liberation who is an accepted candidate in over half the country. The La Riva 2020 presidential campaign stands in solidarity with the mass movement of millions in the streets demanding justice and an end to systemic oppression and racism. La Riva and supporters have been marching in the streets from Minneapolis to New York City to Los Angeles, demanding an end to police terror and racism.
