[Petitioning] Today and Tomorrow

Hello All!

Petitioning today went very well!  Between Tom, me, Kevin, Kostas, and Joe
we were able to get well over 200 signatures!  The crowds have been amazing
with a steady flow.  Yes there is a lot of rejection, but there are also a
lot of people willing to sign!  If we can get more people out there
petitioning tomorrow we could really clean up!  I'd like to make a goal of
500 signatures between all of us for the weekend.

Here is the schedule for tomorrow:

11am-2pm: Stock Pavilion in front of the Flower Show

2pm-5pm: Union Quad side

My phone will be charged tomorrow!  Sorry to any of you who might have
called with my phone being dead.  My number again is 619-985-3553.  It will
definitely be on!

I hope we can get a lot of petitioners tomorrow.  I'd really like this to be
a strong weekend!

For a short time on the Quad there were a LOT of people petitioning, but not
all of them were Greens!  Turns out the Socialist party is running a
candidate for State Senate!  Good for them.  I really hope they get on the
ballot.  It's nice (in a twisted sort of way) to know we aren't the only
ones going through this huge challenge of getting people on the ballot.  Of
course if it was up to me we'd all be on!
