hi lynsee

here's the link to clarkwire and cable

<http://www.clarkwire.com/>

go to <http://www.clarkwire.com/corporate.htm> to see sue herself [and
her bike] and some other info to tune your pitch

we can use all the single pair [model no. SPA22GS ] we can get -
description at <http://www.clarkwire.com/catSinglePairShielded.htm> it's
so pretty w/ all thoz colors. since they make custom cables, they might
well have 'scraps' lyin around. since we'll be mostly usin runs of 10
feet or less, thoz would work jus fine, and also, they are color coded, so
it'd be groovy to have alotta different colors [and also easier to
organize]. it takes a surprising amount of cable to do a studio, and if
they're in the givin mode, we might as well get enough for pdxn studio,
etc., like 3000 ft., tho we can prob'ly do the main studio with 1000 ft.
since it doesnt have patching or a switcher

we might need single pair plenum cable for the long runs to the
transmitter and a basement pdxn area, etc. - like 1000 feet [mod. no.
SPA22GS - Plen] - plenum cable is designed to be fireproof when running
thru a space like above a dropped ceiling thats also used as a heating air
return space, like in high rise offices

there are stereo versions of those, which is jus 2 cables stuck together:
SPA22G2 and SPA22G2 - Plen for the plenum version. those would be easier
to keep track of.
[no matter what the final decision on mono vs. stereo operation, all the
audio wiring needs to be stereo, except mics]

and, speakin of mics, clark mainly manufactures made-up cables, snakes,
etc. we could beg for a nother snake for shows if they dont have that yet
[they'd hafta tell you what they need], and certainly mic cables for the
studio. if they seem open to givin stuff, we could use a bunch of mic
cables with XLR connectors, like 6 - six foot cables, and like a dozen
more like 12 feet up to 20 feet long.

and, if they're really ecstatic about givin, we could double all those
quantities for building our sister stn. in honduras.

if you - or they have questions abt this, call me.

buena suerte! bill cell 217 649-9085, home 217 762-9561
