[Vip-i-vote] I-Vote Happenings

Hey everyone,

For those of you who couldn't attend orientation nights it is not too late to get involved with I-Vote. You can start volunteering whenever you want, just email me and let me know. Right now, I especially need people who are able to do voter registration.

We have space reserved in the Union every Tuesday and Thursday from 11-3 starting next week. I'm going to send out more emails later in the week, but it would be great if you all could volunteer some time for voter registration.

Secondly, I am looking into putting together a deputy registrar class. For those of you who don't know what this is, it is a service put on by the County Clerk where they will train you to register people to vote (in contrast the motor voter forms you hand out is not technically you registering them to vote.) The classes are one hour long, and will probably be sometime in the evening, so if you are interested shoot me an email.

Other than that, I hope you can help out I-Vote with our voter registration drive.

Thanks,
Adam Yost
