1. NON-PROFIT AND GOVERNMENT CAREER FAIR
The Office of Volunteer Programs is co-hosting a Non-Profit and Government Career Fair from 11am-3pm in the Illini Union Illini Rooms on Monday, March 16th. Come check out full and part-time positions, internships, and volunteer opportunities available in these areas!  For more information please visit www.careercenter.illinois.edu/npgfair

2. INTERNATIONAL VOLUNTEERING INFO NIGHT
Come learn more about volunteering aboard, hosted by the Office of Volunteer Programs on March 17th Illini Union in the General Lounge, room 210 at 7pm. For more information contact OVP at ovp at illinois.edu or at (217)333-7424.

3. BARK MADNESS
Miss your best friend at home? You know the one who fetches a ball and is always happy to see you? Then scratch your itch for your pets at home by helping out with Bark Madness, a fundraiser for the Champaign County Humane Society! If you would like help with the fundraising events on the quad, please contact Liz at ovp at illinois.edu. 

4. NATIONAL VOLUNTEER WEEK
Want to make a difference and be a part of something BIG?  National Volunteer Week is coming up from April 19-26 and NOW is the time to get involved!  Groups are needed to both host volunteer events and to participate as volunteers during this celebration of service. 
•  If your group is interested in organizing an event but needs some guidance, you can arrange a meeting with Marli or Kemy at the Office of Volunteer Programs by emailing ovp at illinois.edu.
•  If your organization currently volunteers regularly at an agency and would like to invite other students to come during this special week, please fill out the Registration Form available at https://illinois.edu/formBuilder/OrganizationSecure?id=2380717
•  If you and your friends/dorm floor/sorority/fraternity/etc. would like to be involved by volunteering together during the week, please fill out the Participation Form available at https://illinois.edu/formBuilder/OrganizationSecure?id=3241381

5. MOTHER AND SON BASH CARNIVAL
Want help moms and sons bond? There will be a Carnival with many games and activities that need volunteers for. March 20th - set up 12pm-3pm event 5:30pm - 9:30pm. For more information contact David Genty at david.genty at cparkdistrict.com or (217) 398-2550.

6. CU ON THE TRAILS
This event is a 5K run/walk that will take place at Douglas Park on April 4th.  We need help setting up, directing the participants on the routes, and other numerous tasks.  We need help from about 7:00 a.m. to about 11:30 a.m.  We need about 25 total volunteers.  Please contact David Gentry at 217.398.2550 or david.genty at cparkdistrict.com as soon as possible to sign up!

7. CARRIE BUSEY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CARNIVAL
The carnival will be held on Friday, April 17 at the school.  Volunteers are needed from 3 pm until 8 pm, and can sign up in 1 hour shifts or work the whole evening.

8.  EBERT FEST
You’ve read his movie reviews, now volunteer at an event that is definitely two thumbs up!  Volunteers are needed to help sell merchandise, usher participants, take tickets, manage the crowds, and much more!  For more information please contact anthony.howell at cparkdistrict.com. 

9. STRATTON CARNIVAL
We are in need of volunteers from 3:30pm-7:00pm to assist with a number of carnival games at our annual event.  For more information and to sign up please contact Zanne Newman at zannenewman at gmail.com

10. KENWOOD ELEMENTARY SPRING CARNIVAL
Volunteers are needed from 5:30-8:30pm on Friday, April 24th for the entire time or in shifts.  Even if you are able to work just 1 hour that would be great! 
There will be about 12-15 games, tattoos and face painting, balloon animals, etc. and 2-3 volunteers are needed for each station.
Volunteers with special talents are also needed…juggling, magic, etc. that could be put to use for entertainment.
