[Imc-outreach] Outreach Meeting Notes 7/7/04

Just some brainstorming...

We could do a postcard or telephone campaign (or both)
to let members know just how bad the situation is.  I
think someone mentioned that a lot of people just
don't know that a problem exists.  

Also, we could switch the order of donation choices on
the website.  I see that the capital campaign is at
the top... you have to scroll all the way down to see
that "sustaining funder" is even an option.  Maybe
that should be the first thing you see on that page. 
I'm not sure how many online donations we actually
get, but it's probably worth changing.

I would be willing to talk to a few working groups
about fundraising and recruiting, and I'm sure other
people from Outreach would be willing to help too. 

We could even encourage people to do their own
personal fundraising... having garage sales, etc.
