bht and all-

i agree with bht on some level, although i think that it's hard to understand completely in an email. but i do hope we can consider keeping the action / breaking news section available.  for instance, the inauguration coverage combined various imc radios, reporters, and online folks adding things.  the only negative part of this is that it is mainly the same folks doing it (like bht) so i could see how it would get tiring.

i like this collective idea of sharing resources and spreading information.  people in st. louis were able to use the us-imc to get updates, check pdx radio, and hear about their stl comrades.  it provides a sense of unity between us who are working togethr. 

just my 2 cents :)
