[IMC-US] Collaboration--WALMART?

possibly, but our conversation might spur some
interest if we keep it on the US-IMC list. after all,
it's relevant, no?

i'm being hasty, because need to boogie out of town
for two days shortly, but here's some thoughts:

1. Press Release to US list, post as feature. Why the
collaborations, why walmart in november, what we're
asking. I could review, but can't draft--i'm in WAY
OVER MY HEAD right now (and i know we say this often,
but i'm dead serious).

2. What are we asking? To expose Walmart's devastating
impact to our local communities. And to do this in
solidarity with the national, november film screening
of "Walmart: High Cost of Low Prices" by Greenwald. As
media outlets might write that one story and then move
on, we'll post on US site an exclusive, grassroots,
local-national feature of photos, video footage,
interviews with employees, and hard-hitting news--from
Portland, the hills of Tennessee, upstate New York,
san diego, over in Atlanta, up in Michigan, from the
heart of Oklahoma.

3. Outreach?

-in addition to press release above, maybe include a
visible icon on US-IMC index page that links to a
"collaboration page." This could then be archival site
as well.
-post to our individual IMCs

all this is intended to spark larger dialogue. now all
you creative bees, start buzzing....

peace, i'm out,
tarik
