Hello everyone,

Soc. Forum will be sponsoring a benefit for the striking Accuride workers ( UAW ) in Henderson Kentucky on Saturday December 16th from noon until 3pm. 

I have reserved the Carpenter's union hall ( 402 S. Duncan Rd., Champaign, across from Prairie Gardens ), but I would like to find another place as a back-up, just in case the leadership of the Carpenter's union tries to prevent us from using the union hall at the last minute.

I will be checking Channing Murray and I would like to know if anyone knows the name of the pastor who attended the GEO sit-in last spring ( I understand his church is the Episcopalian ( sic ) church on wright street across from Gregory Hall ).

Also I will be needing help putting this benefit together . Please contact me and let me know if any of you could help out on promotion and/or setting-up and helping out on the day of the event.
