Molly,
I think you raise a good point. I almost did this in my report on the
county's labor troubles that aired on Eclectic Seizure. I said
"Independent Media Center" then appended "Urbana-Champaign" after IMC
was already out of my mouth. I think UCIMC is a mouthful when said,
although I'm quite happy with it overall. The idea of being part of one
big IMC conspiracy also gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling.
