THINGS WE STILL NEED FOR IMC NEWSHOUR 6/11/2001:

1.  ONE FOCUS PIECE. approximately 5 minutes.  June 2d protests in
Cincinnati might be a good topic, since lots of downloadable audio exists
online.  If you need help downloading audio, recording voiceovers, or
editing the final product together, i can help.  i would like to have the
FOCUS piece finished and on file in SERGEI's M:\IMC-Current Audio
Projects\NewsHour 6.11.01 folder NO LATER THAN Sunday midnight.

2.  ONE HEADLINES EDITOR who is willing to work from source text material
provided at www.indymedia.org and on the 6/11/01 print.indymedia.org PDF,
which would come online early monday morning, the 11th.  this means having
some free time on Monday morning and/or afternoon to work the source
materials into a finished script, hot off the presses--as it were--and
ready to hand to me, the producer, who will run it to WEFT and hand it to
the airshifter and the co-host.  or if YOU could run it to WEFT, that'd be
great too.

3.  ONE HEADLINES READER who can arrive at WEFT no later than 5:50PM to
read on-air with Mark Enslin, our airshifter, at exactly 6:01PM.

4. ANY JAZZ or 20th Century string ensemble music by WOMEN COMPOSERS you
have in your CD collection?  Please loan any such CDs to the IMC for a
short period of time so a song might be copied into the NewsHour lineup.
