I wouldn't ordinarily post something that tends to fall in the "for
sale" category, but this is something that folks might want to know
about for several reasons.

I came across a great deal on Freeplay radios. These radios require no
batteries and are made by a socially responsible company in South Africa
that employs the disabled, battered women and former convicts; and it is
starting a venture to build low-cost computers for the the South African
economy.

I have ordered several of these radios to donate as gifts for donations
in the upcoming WEFT fundraising drive on the IL Labor Hour and News
