The Champaign County Branch of NAACP meets the 3rd Tuesday of the month at
the NAACP office, 310 E. Bradley, Champaign.
the Executive Board meets at 6 PM and the General meeting is at 7 PM.

The local Green Party has requested the following two items which are on
the NAACP
agenda for Tuesday, May 15: 

	1) creation of civilian review boards for local police departments
	2) joining a coalition of local groups in support of Citizens for
Independent Public Broadcasting (to counter the increasing reliance of
public broadcasting on corporate funding which has kept important documentaries which do not6 promote corporate
off the air if they do not express a viewpoint a corporation is willing
to promote.)
