[Imc] Microphone Repair addendum from Paul K.

hi again, IMC Steering: 

can the notes be clarified to show that i, in fact, provided an estimate
to TECH before my mics went in for repairs, please?  Aaron at C.V.'s notes
that the AKG mic was $6 over his original estimate--i.e. the cost of
shipping. Tech was aware that the mic's were at C.V.s and hopefully should
also know that they can call Aaron any time.

the second microphone is finished being fixed.  cost is $85, as Aaron at
C.V.'s predicted.

these mics have been out of commission for a VERY long time.  i would like
to pay C.V.'s ASAP and get them back.  i brought the issue to Steering so
that it could be addressed promptly.

i have a project which needs these mics ON WEDNESDAY, before TECH meets
again.

what can i do? --or, more pertinently, what can Steering and Working
Groups do so that IMC benefactors don't keep ending up in a situation like
mine?  i have it on good information that something rather similar
happened to Russell Clark when he lent gear.
