This event is being sponsored by Anti-War, Anti-Racism Effort (AWARE) and 
Student Peace Action of UIUC. The purpose is to commemorate the lives lost 
on Sept. 11 and its aftermath, both in the US and in Afghanistan.

Student Peace Action also plans to hold a noon rally near the UIUC English 
Building, featuring a 50-foot inflatable missile:
