Greetings!

We are Ashley Walls, President of the University of Illinois at
Urbana-Champaign's Black Alumni Network (BAN), and Rory G. James, Director
of the Bruce D. Nesbitt African American Cultural Center (BNAACC) at the
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. BAN, an affiliate organization
of the University of Illinois Alumni Association (UIAA), was created as an
alumni organization with a mission to provide comprehensive programming
opportunities (professional, academic, philanthropic, and social) that
facilitate networking opportunities between African-American alumni,
students, faculty and staff.

On *Friday May 16, 2014 *BAN and BNAACC will proudly host the inaugural
Power Moves Luncheon as part of the University's commencement weekend. In
the scenic setting of the Alice Campbell Alumni Center, BAN and BNAACC will
celebrate the myriad of accomplishments by distinguished alumni of the
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
