What matters, Champaign-Urbana? WRFU, 104.5fm, will host a benefit show at
the Cowboy Monkey downtown Champaign Saturday, December 6 from 6pm til 2 am.
The show will raise funds towards a new permanent tower for the station. The
evening features short sets by more than 16 local musicians and poets
throughout the night, with each set containing songs related to the show
theme, "What Matters." So, what matters, Champaign-Urbana? Local music. The
arts. Public affairs programming. Diverse opinions. Debate. Supporting the
community by keeping the airwaves for the people. WRFU benefit. Saturday,
December 6 at the Cowboy Monkey.
