(Lavana & Janice)

a) Paulette Warren currently hosts Habari Connection
-decided want own show, but Civil Music has the slot she wants
-has to find another time slot, but preliminarily approved as long as available

b) Radio Friction & Extensions merging
-1 show occupying blocks consecutively
-waiver in this instance for having such a large block
-if schedule gets full then it will have to be addressed

c) issue noted of Sunday's block with Dan & Rory already breaking this rule
-throw it back to Membership to address

d) Requesting whenever person submits an app to IMC for RFU, then would like an email sent to rfu to prevent problems.

e) discrepancy between online schedule and what occurs
-how do we fix?

f) we need a page of available time slots on page
-this permits people to know what is free
-need access to web to do it themselves
-need to track down Dan & Noel for this

IV. Fundraising

a) Andrew suggested ideas thrown around for raising money

b) 1-2pm & 2-3pm on saturday
	-having folks from community and allowing to get on the air
	-kids on the radio
	-everyone has a voice
	-people come in, give tour & explanation and allow to get on radio for 1 hour
	-suggest donation $25 or $50 (under 10 people at one time)
	-Lavana would lead effort sometime in May, but others need to jump in later
	-start off with youth & adult groups (boyscouts, etc)

	DISCUSSION: price seems to high

c) previously done Farmer's market (April/May onward)
	-been useful for selling T-shirts & making folks aware
	-start earlier
	-get everyone to participate to prevent burnout
	-need high traffic area (not in the bad area)
	-need near area
	-Dan could potentially set up wireless connect to reach it
d) Support from RFU wants to donate money
	-wants to remain anonymous
	-want to donate funds for specific items such as studio equipment
	-look to offer funds to encourage RFU members to step up to the plate

e) Janine drafted letter
	-Andrew will approach labor council for donation


V. TECH
a) MIC update
	-musthave fallen during a show
	-Chris Evans saw it, picked it up and put it in the mailbox in Finance office
	-the lamp mount (built by Lynsee and her brother) broke...

b) Printer
	-thru freecycle got dot matrix, 20 cartridges and a lot of paper
	-EAS seems to be working
	-need someone to test and verify/need tech folks to verify functionality

c) CDs in production room 
	-still 10 boxes remaining
	-had a workgroup mtg (Dwayne, Tom & Andrew did majority of work)
	-only a 1/2 hr of work left

d) TOWER
	-Andy Gunn contact was not made
	-Andrew will follow up
	-why? we might be able to get an offsite tower and get technical help from Andy Gunn from Prometheus about this. get price, specs, etc

VI. AUTOMATION
	-remote access?
	-3 people interested, but the group is defunct
	-Andrew has been talking with Dave & Dan to try to faciliate convo b/w IMC & RFU tech
	-try to start off with a meeting to explain ZaraRadio
	-Ray will coordinate meeting regarding ZaraRadio

VII. Miscellaneous
a) Bill Taylor presentation
	-Nick was going to do that
	-Bill will be away for most of April so it probably has to be May, after exams

b) Poor mtg attendance
	-how can we improve it?
		-move mtg time
		-Motion to move meetings to 1st Tuesday 8pm & Saturday after 3rd Tuesday 1pm
		-make Saturday a workparty/discuss business & get things done
