1.  Interested in triathlons? Come help out! Volunteers are needed to monitor 
the race course, help ensure safety of riders and runners along the course, 
keep bike corral secure, and pass out water to race participants.  Volunteers 
are needed on Aug 2, 2003 (6:30am - 12:00pm) and contact Kristi Bolton at
(217) 398-2550 for more information.

2.  Be a part of Champaign-Urbana Days! Volunteers are needed to help in a 
variety of areas such as set up, clean up, Pepsi stands, park beautification, 
and scorekeeping. Volunteers are needed to help on Aug 8 (4:00pm - 10:00pm), 
Aug 9 (9:00am - 7:00pm), Aug 10 (9:00am - 8:00pm).  Contact Kristi Bolton at

3.  Do you enjoy reading? One of our resident's would like to learn to read or 
to at least identify letters and numbers so she can play her favorite game 
without assistance. Contact Kalah McGraw at (217) 384-3784 for more 
information.

4.  Volunteers needed NOW to set out brochures at businesses. Put up posters 
too. Contact service groups to put teams together and help fundraise. E-mail 
friends and family. Tell co-workers. Get organizations to list the event in 
their church bulletins, school papers, newspapers, work newsletter. Spread the 
Word! Also volunteers needed for the day of the event walk. We will need 
volunteers for set up early in the day, and help during the walk, and clean up
