Hi all--

here is another street level evidence of the gains the Champaign Urbana
hospitality industry will be enjoying, if restaurant, bar, and hotel businesses,
stop the nonsense and accept smoke free legislation . Besides, is it not
curious, very curious indeed that the Champaign-Urbana's hospitality industry, which
does not manufacture tobacco products is defending, through its ill-informed
hostility to local public health promotion and disease prevention legislation,
the trade of the tobacco industry?

Smokefree NYC Hotel Enjoys 100% Occupancy

Midtown Comfort Inn sold out from March 30 to May 8

Business owners who don't appreciate the benefits of clean air should look at
New York City's Comfort Inn hotel. The 79-room, smoke-free hotel in Times
Square, enjoyed 100% occupancy for the entire month of April. Located at 129
West 46th Street, the boutique property is New York City's only smoke-free
hotel. The hotel sold out from March 30 to May 8, a total of 40 consecutive days.

"The Comfort Inn Midtown has been our most consistent property in terms of
occupancy and repeat visitation since the smoke-free conversion in August 2001,"
says Vijay Dandapani, COO of Apple Core Hotels. "This is the first time an
Apple Core Hotels property enjoyed a "perfect" month in April."

For information or reservations at the Comfort Inn, contact Apple Core Hotels
at (800) 567-7720 or (212) 790-2710.
